Quest of Beard – Returns, Refunds & Scent Reset

At Quest of Beard, we care about detail and respect – in our formulas, and in the way we treat you. If something with your order doesn’t feel right, we will always do our best to make it right in a calm, clear and fair way.

1. Damaged or incorrect items

If your parcel arrives damaged, or you receive the wrong item, we will replace it as soon as possible. What to do:

arrange a replacement shipment as quickly as possible, or offer an alternative solution if the item is no longer available. Any claims with the carrier or legal follow-up are handled by us in the background. You shouldn’t have to fight for a solution.

2. Change of mind & right of withdrawal (EU customers)

If you order from within the European Union, you have the legal right to cancel your order within 14 days after receiving it, without giving a reason. Because Quest of Beard works with personal grooming and cosmetic products, some hygiene conditions apply:

Products must be unopened, unused and in their original, sealed packaging. Combs, brushes and accessories must be unused and in resellable condition. If these conditions are met, you can return your order under your right of withdrawal. How to use your right of withdrawal: Inform us within 14 days after delivery that you wish to withdraw from the purchase. We will send you a prepaid return shipping label and clear instructions. Send the products back within 14 days after receiving the return label. Return shipping costs

For approved returns within this policy, Quest of Beard arranges and pays for return shipping via a prepaid label. Refund of your original shipping When you use your legal right of withdrawal for the full order, we refund: the full product amount, and the standard delivery costs you originally paid (if any). If you return only part of your order, we refund the products returned, but not the original shipping fee.

3. Refunds

Once we receive and inspect your return, we will: confirm whether the products are unopened and in acceptable condition process your refund within 14 days after your withdrawal notice (we may wait to refund until we have received the products back or proof of shipment) Refunds are issued to the original payment method, unless we agree on a different method together. If there is an issue (for example, products appear opened or used where this is not covered by Scent Reset), we will contact you. We do not hide behind fine print – we discuss the situation and look for a solution that feels fair to both sides.

4. Scent Reset – First Order Guarantee

Fragrance is personal. We understand that. Alongside your legal rights, we offer an additional brand promise for your first Quest of Beard order: If you don’t connect with the scent of your first oil or kit, you can request a Scent Reset. How Scent Reset works: Scent Reset applies once per customer, on your first order. Contact us within 14 days after delivery and tell us which scent isn’t working for you. We may ask for your feedback (so we can improve), but: you do not need to return the opened bottle for Scent Reset. We will offer one of the following, depending on your order and location: a free or discounted replacement scent, or a store credit or partial refund that you can use towards another Quest of Beard product. We’ll always aim for a solution that feels generous, but also sustainable for the brand. Important: Scent Reset is an extra commercial guarantee from Quest of Beard. It does not replace or limit your legal right of withdrawal as an EU consumer.

5. Non-returnable items (outside Scent Reset)

For hygiene and safety reasons, we generally cannot accept returns of: opened or used oils, shampoo & conditioner products with broken hygiene seals items that are no longer in their original state due to use, damage or missing parts (unless they arrived that way)

If you believe there is a quality issue with a used product – for example, a defect in the packaging – please contact us. We handle these cases individually and always try to find a solution that is fair to you and to the brand.

6. Exchanges

At this moment, we do not offer direct product-for-product exchanges through the system. If you would like a different product: Your original product can be returned according to this policy. Once your refund is processed, you can place a new order for the item you prefer. If there was a mistake on our side (wrong product shipped, missing item), we will of course send the correct product at no extra cost to you.

7. Order issues & support

If anything about your order feels off – a missing item, a tracking problem, a damaged parcel, or simply something that doesn’t feel right: Reach out to us at info@questofbeard.com with your order number. We review each case individually. Our goal is always the same: a calm, clear and fair solution. Quest of Beard is built for men who care about detail and character. That starts with what we put in the bottle – and continues with how we show up when something goes wrong.
