Ample Accents VOF is the “controller” under GDPR, meaning we decide how and why your personal data is processed.
2. What data we collect
We only collect what we need to deliver your order, improve your experience, and run the brand properly.

3. Why we use your data (purposes)

Webshop platform: WooCommerce (order processing and store functionality)
Email marketing: Mailchimp (only if you subscribe or if service emails are sent through this system)
Analytics: Google Analytics (only if you accept analytics cookies) These providers act as “processors” (or in some cases independent controllers) and may only process data to deliver their services.
We aim to use providers that offer strong security and GDPR-ready terms.
6. International transfers (outside the EU/EEA)
Some of our providers (such as Stripe, Mailchimp, and Google) may process data outside the EU/EEA. When this happens, we use GDPR safeguards (such as Standard Contractual Clauses and other applicable protections) to help keep your data protected.

10. How long we keep your data

Orders & invoices: typically 7 years (Dutch tax/accounting requirement)
Customer service messages: as long as needed to resolve the issue, then limited retention
Email marketing data: until you unsubscribe (or earlier if you request deletion)
Analytics data: according to our analytics settings and your cookie consent choices When data is no longer needed, we delete it or anonymise it.
11. Security
We protect your data with appropriate technical and organisational measures, such as:

No system is perfect, but we treat your data the way we treat our products: with care and discipline.

Quest of Beard is not intended for children under 16. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children.
