Welcome to Quest of Beard. These Terms & Conditions explain how we work with you when you shop with us. By placing an order on our website, you agree to these Terms & Conditions.

1. Who we are

Quest of Beard is a beard care brand focused on high-end grooming products. 2. Scope of these terms

These Terms & Conditions apply to all orders placed via our website by consumers (B2C). Separate agreements may apply to business customers, barbershops or resellers.

3. Products, pre-orders and availability

We offer beard oils, grooming products and related accessories. Some items may be sold as pre-orders, especially during our launch and special batches.

Pre-order items will clearly show an expected shipping time (for example: 3–6 weeks). All delivery times are estimates. Production delays, customs or logistics issues may affect the actual shipping date.

 

If a product becomes unavailable after you order, we will contact you to offer:

a replacement product, or a refund for that item.

We reserve the right to:

change products, packaging, pricing or availability, and correct obvious mistakes on the website (for example, a clear price error).

4. Prices, currency and VAT

All prices on our website are shown in euro (EUR). Prices include VAT where applicable, unless stated otherwise. Shipping costs are shown separately at checkout before you confirm your order. We may change prices from time to time. The price that applies to your order is the price shown at the moment you complete your purchase.

5. Ordering process & contract

You place products in your cart and go through checkout. Before you pay, you see a summary of your order, prices and shipping costs. By clicking “Pay now” / “Complete order”, you place a binding order. You receive an order confirmation by email. This is our confirmation that we have received your order. The purchase contract between you and Quest of Beard is formed when we send you the order confirmation. If we cannot accept your order (for example, due to stock or payment issues), we will inform you and refund any amounts paid.

6. Payment methods

We work with secure payment service providers. Available payment options will be shown at checkout (for example: iDEAL, credit card, etc.). You must complete payment during checkout for your order to be processed. We only ship or produce your order once payment has been received.

7. Shipping, delivery & risk

We ship to the countries listed on our website. Shipping & delivery:

Shipping methods and estimated delivery times are shown at checkout. For pre-orders, a longer lead time (for example 3–6 weeks) will be clearly indicated. Once your order is handed over to the carrier, we will provide tracking where available.

The risk of loss or damage passes to you when you (or a third party you designate, other than the carrier) physically receive the products. If your parcel arrives damaged or goes missing, please contact us. We handle delivery issues according to our Return & Refund Policy.

8. Right of withdrawal (EU consumers)

If you are a consumer within the European Union, you have a legal right of withdrawal. You may cancel your purchase within 14 days after receiving the goods, without giving a reason. Because our products are personal grooming and cosmetic items, special conditions apply:

Your right of withdrawal applies as long as products are unopened, unused and in their original, sealed packaging.

Combs, brushes and accessories must be unused and in resellable condition. How this works in practice is described in detail in our Return & Refund Policy, which is part of these Terms. Your statutory rights under EU and local consumer law remain fully in place.

9. Scent Reset – additional guarantee

Quest of Beard offers an extra brand promise called “Scent Reset – First Order Guarantee”. This is a commercial guarantee from us and does not replace or limit your legal right of withdrawal. The main points:

Scent Reset applies once per customer, on your first Quest of Beard order. If you do not connect with the fragrance of your first oil or kit, you can contact us within 14 days after delivery. We may ask for your feedback, but you usually do not need to send back the opened bottle for Scent Reset. Depending on your order and location, we will offer:

a free or discounted replacement scent, or a store credit or partial refund to use on another Quest of Beard product. Full details are explained in our Return & Refund Policy.

10. Returns, refunds & exchanges

Our full Return & Refund Policy explains: how to report damaged or incorrect items how to exercise your right of withdrawal as an EU consumer which products can and cannot be returned for hygiene reasons how refunds are processed and within which time frame That policy is part of these Terms & Conditions. In case of any difference in wording, the version on our website at the time of your order applies.

11. Use of our products

Quest of Beard products are designed for external use only and for normal grooming purposes. By purchasing and using our products, you agree to: follow the instructions on the packaging and on our website avoid using the product if you know you are allergic to any listed ingredient discontinue use and contact a professional if irritation or an unexpected reaction occurs We are not responsible for damage or injury caused by: use that is different from normal or recommended use, ignoring ingredient information or known allergies, or combining our products with other substances in a way that is not intended. This does not affect your legal rights in case of defective products under applicable consumer law.

12. Liability

We are legally responsible for: damage caused by intent or gross negligence on our side any liability we cannot exclude or limit under applicable law Within the limits of the law, we are not liable for: minor differences in colour, texture or packaging compared to photos indirect or consequential damages (such as lost profits or business loss) damage resulting from incorrect use of the product, contrary to our instructions Our total liability in connection with a purchase is limited to the amount you paid for that specific order, unless mandatory law requires more.

13. Intellectual property

All content on our website and in our materials – including logos, product names, text, images, designs and video – is owned by Quest of Beard or used with permission. You may not: copy, distribute or use our content for commercial purposes imitate or reuse our branding, names or designs without our prior written consent. You are welcome to share our content for personal, non-commercial use, such as posting your Quest of Beard experience on social media, as long as you do not alter the brand in a misleading way.

14. Privacy & personal data

We treat your personal data with care. Our Privacy Policy explains:

15. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms & Conditions from time to time, for example when our services, products or laws change. The version that applies to your order is the version that was online at the time you placed the order. We will publish the latest version on our website with the date of the last update. If changes significantly affect your ongoing rights or obligations, we will communicate this clearly where possible.

16. Applicable law & disputes

These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of the Netherlands, without prejudice to any mandatory consumer protection provisions in your country of residence within the EU. If there is a dispute, our first step is always to look for a calm, reasonable solution together. If we cannot resolve the matter, you may: submit the dispute to the competent court in the Netherlands, and/or use any official consumer dispute resolution bodies available in your country under EU law. Your statutory consumer rights remain fully in place at all times.
